In fact, 41% of SMBs believe they would go out of business if they lost their data today, and that belief is supported by estimates from the U.S. Small Business Administration.

Perhaps the most important finding, underscoring SMBs increasing appreciation of the data risks to their businesses, is that 82% of SMBs are now seriously considering business continuity improvements, and 35% plan to deploy business continuity services or solutions within the next 24 months.

Continuity is increasingly front of mind for SMBs because – in a world where data stores are growing exponentially – the cost and business risks associated with downtime are far too great to ignore.
